ULIM - USF Partnership: First Planning Meeting for Spring 2022

It is with great pleasure that I share with you that during the Spring 2022 semester Students in Dr. Judithanne Scourfield McLauchlan's US Constitutional Law 2: Civil Liberties and Civil Rights class will be working together in groups with Prof. Elena Margineanu's law students from ULIM, the Universitatea Libera Internationala din Moldova (the Free University of Moldova).

We have been corresponding by e-mail for the last few months, but on December 16th we had our first Planning Meeting "live" to iron out all of the logistics and project details.

Special thanks to the Vice Rector of International Cooperation Valentina Ciumacenco for facilitating this partnership -- and to Larisa Patlis, Interim Director, LISD -- who has been a research and teaching partner since my Fulbright to Moldova (when I was hosted by ULIM) in 2010!

More to come in this space!

Our first Planning Meeting, held in Microsoft Teams
